Pool Liner Inspection Services

A pool liner inspection tells you exactly what condition your vinyl liner is in — whether you're buying a home, filing an insurance claim, or just want peace of mind before closing the pool for winter. Our registered, family-owned team provides clear written inspection reports backed by hands-on vinyl expertise — not a general home inspector checking boxes.

Types of Inspections We Offer

Annual Inspection

A thorough top-to-bottom review of your vinyl liner, fittings, skimmer, and bead track each season. Catches small issues before they become expensive problems — and gives you a written record of pool condition.

Home-Sale Inspection

Buying or selling a home with a vinyl pool? We provide a detailed written inspection report documenting liner condition, leak risk, and any fitting or hardware deficiencies — the same day in most cases. Gives buyers confidence and protects sellers.

Insurance Inspection

Some homeowner insurance policies require periodic pool inspections or documentation after a claim. We provide written reports with photos that are formatted for insurance submission. Call ahead if you have a specific form requirement.

Seasonal Inspection

Opening for the season or closing for winter? We inspect the liner and fittings for any damage that occurred over the off-season or that could worsen under a winter cover. Small repairs done at opening can save a liner. See our winter damage assessments for storm- and freeze-related damage.

Warranty Inspection

If your liner is still under manufacturer warranty and you suspect a manufacturing defect (fading, pattern failure, or premature seam failure), we document the issue with photos and measurements to support a warranty claim.

What Our Reports Cover

  • Liner condition — age estimate, UV fading, brittleness check
  • All seams — factory and field-welded, visual and tactile inspection
  • All vinyl-contact fittings — skimmer, returns, main drain, step risers
  • Bead track — any sections that have slipped or are retaining water
  • Observed leak sites — dye tested where suspected
  • Photo documentation of all deficiencies
  • Repair recommendations with priority rating

Seeing winter or freeze damage in your report? Our additional services include winter damage assessments and gasket or fitting replacements — often handled in the same visit. Not sure what your pool needs? See our FAQ.
