1. About Pool Patchers

Pool Patchers, LLC ("Pool Patchers," "we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned, mobile vinyl pool repair business serving a 100-mile radius of Hickory, NC. By booking a service appointment or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Scope of Services

Pool Patchers provides vinyl liner repair services only, for both in-ground and above-ground vinyl pools. Our services are limited to patching, leak detection, and inspections of vinyl pool liners.

We do not perform and expressly exclude from our scope:

• Full vinyl liner replacements
• Plumbing repairs or modifications
• Electrical work of any kind
• Decking, coping, or structural repairs
• Pool cleaning or chemical services
• Any work outside of vinyl liner repair

If a condition we observe during a job is outside our scope, we will inform you but we are not obligated to perform or refer that work.

3. Service Area

We serve a 100-mile radius of Hickory, NC. Appointments outside this area are not available. We are a mobile, service-area-only business — we come to your pool; we do not operate a storefront.

There is no trip fee for jobs within our service area. If you are unsure whether your location is within range, call us at (704) 325-2140 before booking.

4. Pricing

Our current labor rate is:

• $190/hour — standard rate (credit/debit card payment)
• $185/hour — cash discount ($5/hr off the standard rate)

Parts and materials are included in the hourly rate. Nothing is billed separately for parts, patches, or supplies used during the repair.

A minimum of 1 hour is billed per appointment, regardless of actual time on site if the job is completed in less time.

Seasonal and emergency rates may apply. The rates above are our standard peak-season (summer) rates. Off-season (winter), holiday, and emergency appointments are billed at a higher rate. Current seasonal rates are shown on our pricing page, and we will confirm the applicable rate with you before work begins.

Pricing is subject to change. The rate in effect at the time your appointment is confirmed is the rate that applies to your job. We will inform you of the applicable rate before work begins.

5. Booking and Appointment Expectations

Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee an appointment. Your appointment is confirmed only when we contact you directly (by phone or email) to confirm a specific date and time.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information and a correct service address.
• Ensure safe, unobstructed access to the pool area at the scheduled appointment time.
• Be present, or have a responsible adult present, for the duration of the appointment.
• Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather, safety conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of service completion. We accept credit/debit card (at the standard rate) and cash (at the discounted rate). We do not accept checks, and no deposit is required to book.

7. Workmanship Warranty

Pool Patchers stands behind the quality of our repair work. The repairs we perform are warranted for one (1) year from the date of service. If a repair we performed fails under normal pool-use conditions within that one-year period due to our workmanship or materials, we will return and re-repair it at no charge.

This warranty covers only the specific repair we performed. It does not cover:

• New or unrelated damage — for example, a new tear, leak, or problem in a different area or arising after our visit. These are separate repairs, not warranty work.
• Damage caused by improper chemical balance, freezing, or other environmental factors.
• Pre-existing conditions unrelated to our repair.
• Damage caused by third-party work performed after our repair.
• Normal liner degradation or fading unrelated to the repaired area.

8. Photos of Your Repair

We may take photographs of the pool and the repair work (including before-and-after photos) for our records, quality control, and warranty documentation. We will ask for your permission before using any photos publicly — for example, on our website, social media, or marketing. You are free to decline, and declining will not affect your service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pool Patchers' liability for any claim arising from services performed or not performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Pool Patchers is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use of the pool, costs of alternative services, or property damage unrelated to the repair area.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate booking requests. You agree not to use it for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
